Vehicle Loop Detector is used wherever vehicles have to be detected, for example for example for monitoring and safe-guarding access ways or for counting vehicles. The output signal can be used for controlling door and gate drive mechanisms, operating barriers, controlling traffic light systems, or activating card dispensers in parking lots.
MR-VLDS1 has two-way output relays, one is unlimited output when the loop is temporarily covered, while the other is multi-mode that can be set by users.

Functions and Features of single channel Vehicle Detector:
- Reset Switch: The reset switch enables the detector to be manually reset during registering and testing and it is a process of system recovery;
- Selectable Pulse Time: This feature sets the length of time that the pulse relay will last for 1 Second or 0.5 Seconds ;
- Pulse Relay Selection: The Pulse Relay may be configured to energize on detection of a vehicle or when the vehicle leaves the loop;
- Sensitivity Reinforcement: This feature sets the un-detecting level to maximum sensitivity to prevent failing to detect vehicles such as big trucks;
- Switch Sensibility Adjustable: 4 sensitivity settings are available on the switches to change sensitivity ;
- Switch Frequency Adjustable: 4 frequency settings are available to prevent signal interference with neighboring loops ;
- Filtering Option: This option is used to provide a delay between the detection of the vehicle and switching of the output relay. This relay is normally used to prevent false detection of small or fast-moving objects ;
- Permanent Presence Option: This feature ensures the detection of the vehicle will be maintained when the vehicle stays within the loop area for extended periods
