- The safety arrester brakes can be used in all MRTECH roller shutters. It is designed to prevent accidents from the sudden descent of roller shutter which is most prevalent in the event of broken motor drive chains.
- It works similarly to a shock absorber, where in the event the drive chain of a roller shutter is broken during operation, the downturn speed of the shutter increases very quickly and would be unsafe.
- The safety arrester brake reacts immediately to absorb the sudden accelerated speed by stopping the roller shutter from descending further.
- The safety arrester brake will return to standby position once the motor drive chain is properly re-connected to the gear. Users can then proceed to replace the faulty parts safety
